The Challenge…….

Have you been hearing about The 90 Day Challenge lately?

If you have, you are probably wondering if it works or another hype up magic potion……NOT!!
If you haven’t, well you’re at the right place.

I have been doing The Challenge for the past couple of months and have just decided to re-start my Challenge this week…..why? I wanted to raise the bar. After being part of the Challenge, I feel great, that was my goal when starting as I was pretty healthy outside of my low iron. Now I want to take it to another level of all areas of my life, but especially my fitness levels and getting back into great shape. I have let that go over the past few years of not really working out much…..well like I used to anyways.
The people that have been joining me in the Challenge are blowing me away with the results they are getting too!!
The biggest converter has been my husband……..as you know we’ve always have made shakes in the morning, tried many powders over the years and then just greens.  These shakes taste amazing with many different recipes. My husband, after a couple of weeks on the shakes came home one day and said……’You know, I have been feeling so much better lately, happier, more energized at work like never before and the only thing we’re doing different are the shakes…..so it must be them, can I take another one with me for my break in the morning as they are really good.’ Which really caught my attention as he conveniently would forget his Green Smoothie occasionally or not drink it all in the past but not now!!!
I’ve personally found the Body By Vi Challenge to target FAT, and leave the MUSCLE. So even though we were making shakes before they didn’t have the same level of nutrition and ingredients that Body By Vi and ViSalus had.
And that has been key for us……..nutrition……..we need more of it these days as the daily stressors we encounter in our activities far outweigh what our ancestors went through in their lifetime!!!
The neatest thing I am seeing so far,is  how this is having a domino affect on people, they add a shake to their way of eating or not really eating especially in the morning, which mostly consists of adding fruit, so people are now eating fruit, or simply even having breakfast  that isn’t full of caffeine, sugar and empty fillers. Then because they are feeling better and have more energy are making better food choices throughout the day, then also starting to find a form of exercise even if it’s walking after work for 30 mins.
So, is it all hype?? No, these products work and people are making changes and getting results……that is what the buzz is about and this is a good thing.
Obesity, diabetes and heart disease are serious matters, The Body by Vi – 90 Day Challenge is making a difference a HUGE difference in that and I love being part of that!!!

Letting Go

Ahhhh summer is officially here…..finally!!!  How was your long weekend?? Ours was great.  I hope you really enjoyed yourself as that is what life is about each and every day.

How many of you went camping or to family gatherings, picnics, beaches, etc?  Usually on these long weekends, especially when the weather is nice and we can be outside we are eating things we don’t normally eat…..potato salad, macaroni salads, burgers, hot dogs, and so on…….I hope you did and I hope you enjoyed it.

Really I do!!!!

I also hope that you are not feeling guilty over what you ate, didn’t eat, drank or should have eaten.  Life is too short for that.  Don’t get me wrong, I always encourage to eat healthy, but here’s how I look at it, we are only here for a little while, we have to have some fun along the way too, if that means you’re at a family picnic or gathering as an example where you know the food won’t be the best, you have a couple of options……take something that is healthy and eat more of that, or relax and go with the flow for the time being.  Not saying you should do that every day or all the time, but once in awhile is more than ok.

Remember our thoughts are powerful.  If you are feeling guilty, or beating yourself up over what you did eat or what you should have eaten instead……you are doing more damage to yourself.  It’s over with, let it go.   Make better choices next time.  How can you do that? By loving yourself anyways, right here and now, making a better choice today, that with each today and tomorrow will only get better if that is what you focus on.  If you keep focusing on what you should have done, or feeling guilty or beating yourself up, you will probably always come up short handed.

Acknowledge the good things no matter how small they are in what you are doing and who you are.  They can only then get bigger and better.

Also, EFT is a great tool for letting go of those negative,unwanted emotions, which stem from our thoughts.  Whether that be with dealing with eating, ourselves, life or business.
