Now that the hotter weather is here, we all need to be drinking more water.

Did you know that by the time you are thirsty you are already dehydrated?

Forget buying bottle water or flavored water or mineral enhanced water – save your money and the environment – make your own.  It’s easy, fast, tasty and nutritious and you will be making a big difference in the world by reducing the amount of plastic that gets thrown away.  Most bottled water is tap water or dead water.

Fresh spring water is a great choice and it’s free – Find A Spring has locations of free spring water all over North America – it’s right from the earth, is live, has no memory (yes water has memory), is fresh and tastes amazing!!

You should be drinking at least half your body weight in ounces to stay hydrated and healthy – we are after all more than 70% water.

Grab a glass decanter and throw in fresh foods like blueberries & strawberries, raspberries,cucumber, mint & lemon or lime or both or mint & cucumber, mango and strawberries, oranges & mangos….and I could go on.  Fruits (not bananas), most herbs will work depending on your preference, and some veggies make for a good water like peppers, cucumbers, beets to name a few.  It’s mostly fruits and herbs so get creative and stay well hydrated all the time – your body and skin will love you for it!!
