Super Simple Green Smoothie

Now it can’t get much easier than this, and since it’s summertime, greens and lettuce are abundant.
I was able to walk out into my small garden and just pick the lettuce, now how awesome is that!!

2 Banana’s
Big bunch of lettuce
Water or almond mylk, now of course the mylk will make it creamier and sometimes I like that (I did it this way in the photo)
I also added a little cocoa powder which of course is optional and 1 tablespoon of Coconut Butter. So that is why it’s not as green as it could be.
Lets leave out the cocoa and coconut and it’s quick and easy and a great way to start your day!!
Why cocoa powder?
Sometimes I like a chocolate flavor and sometimes that works well with bananas and kids!!
Real raw cocoa powder has antioxidants in it, but use a good quality one.
Why Coconut Oil?
It is great for the hair, nail and skin, it helps with stress relief, weight loss, boosts immunity, helps with digestion & metabolism, prevents osteoporosis and slows down aging…….has me convinced!!!
