When Life Gets Hard
When Life gets hard or even stinky sometimes………
Sometimes it’s interesting what the Universe throws at you!!
Yet as I say that I have to remember – aren’t we the Universe??
Interesting concept isn’t it?
The Universe is actually a feed back loop that shows us what we are truly thinking and feeling and people, places and things show up to play out a role showing us.
I know what you are thinking……….hold on here – you’re telling me I created and attracted in that bs??
Hard one to take sometimes isn’t it?
I know I’ve been there and just was this week – I’ve probably been there more than I like but that is usually when one either wakes up or gets the lesson and can move on!
Rumour has it that old souls save the hardest lessons for last!!
I had something that came up in my life AGAIN this week and it took me off course – yet I knew I HAD to take responsibility for it.
F*$# – not always an easy thing to do!!
Here is the thing – no one can do anything to you – it may seem like that but they truly are just a reflection of you or reflecting back to you.
If you look at it that way then one also has to take responsibility – which is not an easy thing today I have noticed – it’s much easier to blame, lie, or go to court J
I took time away from all distractions this week especially social media and I had to sit with a situation this week that I had to keep asking that question – if I am creating this then why? What would I have to be thinking, feeling or believing for this to have happened?
It sent me asking, questioning, reading, researching, journaling, tapping (EFT), meditating, and more – ok I get a little OCD at times but I recognized a pattern and when that happens for me I want to clear the shit asap!!
From Astrology – this week is an intense one that has brought up much karmic stuff, deep stuff and old negative patterns that aren’t needed so that when the Full Moon kicks in tonight it will be worth it – it’s all about New Beginnings!
Sometimes in life we need to go back 2 steps so we can catapult 10 steps forward and I clearly feel and see that now as I moved energy and moved through much this week.
It took me back into my childhood – which if you stop looking at linear time – all time is happening right now and you can actually do much healing work in that realty which will affect you now.
But that will be another post 🙂
Just in time for this powerful Full Moon happening tonight June 9th – New Beginnings – much old karma, patterns and lessons cleared out so you can experience new things – all relationships, environments, places etc!
This full moon is about Intensity (no shit), Transformation (well worth it) and Optimism – (yes a different reality).
When we are truly ready and willing to do the work, even when it’s not fun at times, it’s hard, it may hurt, it may be lonely, it requires taking responsibility and looking at your own stuff and patterns – it will ALWAYS be worth it! Embrace it and Blow thru it!!
That is truly growth, expansion, becoming more aware and more conscious as consciousness creates matter – what matter are you creating – consciously or subconsciously??
I will dive deeper into that in up coming posts!
Love being back in the world even more emerged, conscious, expanded, lighter, freer and with passion!! And yes I still have more work to do – that is part of life – you are either growing or being stagnant.

There are many of us being affected right now and going through things yet not always sure what – people that are empathic, intuition is getting stronger, food sensitivities maybe increasing, awareness is increasing, confused as you know things don’t seem right and yet you’re not sure of other things (ie the way the world works or not), feel an impulse to help others, are called towards truth, expansion, healing etc
Take some time alone and Set your Intentions tonight with the Full Moon and start creating some magic!!

Raising Your Vibration
What does raising your vibration mean to begin with!?
Everything is Energy – Science is proving that, Quantum Physics is proving that – from the chair you sit in, to the plate you eat off, the kind of food you do eat, the thoughts you think and the feelings you feel.
When we are in an emotional state – whether that be anger, frustration, love, joy, or gratitude as examples, they all have a different vibration. Just like a Twinkie does to a Green Salad or a chair to a table, anger vs love – they are all different. Some are denser than others 🙂
What is Vibration – a person’s emotional state, the atmosphere of a place, or the associations of an object, as communicated to and felt by others.
Now we do know that Love, Gratitude and Joy are higher vibrations – it’s been proven.
How does one get there if it’s not a common state of being, have been having more crappy days than great days, dealing with a ton of stress or something along those lines so you just aren’t in a place of a higher vibrational state of being!
I want to share an exercise I did before and I did again last night – what an experience both times.
Last night I did it while I was doing Yin Yoga – so a 90 min session and I was listening to Bentinho Massaro doing some guided meditations of basically raising your state. (you can find him on Youtube – cool dude) his exercise that I did before is really for at least 10 seconds for every minute think and feel amazing things about you, your life, your body, your being for 2 hours – set a timer and go – when I did it I couldn’t believe how fast the time went and how good I felt.
So through holding a Yoga pose (you don’t have to do Yin Yoga during this at all – I just chose to – just don’t let yourself be distracted be fully present yet relaxed). I kept my focus on my breath – nice long and deep breathing and keep engaging in feeling different feelings to start training my body to embody them more often – love, gratitude, excitement, creativity, empowerment, abundance, courage etc
I felt like for awhile I was almost in an altered state – it felt friggin awesome!!
Sometimes the simple things of slowing down, being present connecting with out breath, getting out of our mind and learning to embody new ways of feeling can be life changing – everything is energy and energy is powerful……..when used correctly!! We can create more by doing that then running around being busy trying to do, do, do.
We are walking antenna’s that helps to find tune the station better and to adjust to a better station or a station more in tuned to who you truly be!!
The process is meditative and in this short video Dr Joe Dispenza explains what is’ like to be incoherent and then coherent with the brainwaves and the heart – big difference in the body and health and connecting with the Field – of Infinite Possibilities.
The more we are connected with our selves and true nature this becomes much easier, we are lighter, freer, more in the flow and having magic happen all around us!
Have you ever tried a Yin Yoga class?
Years ago there you would have never found me doing a Yin class – but that is when I probably needed it the most.
I was always busy doing something and on the go. I did a lot in my day, I was busy doing and going and my work outs at the time were somewhat a physical work out – probably just to keep up with my mind!!
We live in a fast paced world now that keeps us busy doing things, going places or occupied by technology.
Many people have a hard time just sitting and doing nothing. I know – I was one of them!!
It wasn’t until my body said enough and I had to slow down. At that time even doing regular Yoga was hard for awhile.
Then I tried Yin – my body loved it and it allowed me to connect more withy breath, be in the moment and become aware of how my mind kept busy – good god was it busy!!
This year I have been doing much more Yin Yoga and my body is loving it – I can’t believe how good I feel after. Yin is where you hold poses for 2 – 7 mins and slowly go to your edge – it’s not about going deep right away but breathing into it. Talk about learning to be present AND in the body!
In our fast paced world and also where we have so many distractions that can keep us from really truly feeling our feelings – like food, alcohol, technology etc Yin is a great add on. Holding a pose is not always easy – most are on the floor, it’s learning to not be in the ego and push too hard too fast and also learning to be with emotions that come up as inYin a lot will be released and just witnessing the emotions (energy in motion) and learning to breath through them so they can leave the body – we hold much old trapped emotions, trauma etc in our bodies.
Last night I had the privilege of being in Ana’s Yin class at the Drishti Centre in Ajijic Mexico – Ana is in the book Why We do Yoga – she is such a beautiful person and her teaching style is amazing. She is inspirational, knowledgable deeply in Yoga, makes it fun, has great facial expressions for letting us know not to take it too seriously and a beautiful studio!
Yin has been around for awhile and what I have found out about Yin Yoga is that it is great for anyone who has had addictions, struggles with food and emotional eating, tiredness, feeling over-stimulated, when your energy is too erratic or if your mind is overactive.
I love doing it in the evenings – it sets the stage for a great nights sleep!

Why We do Yoga is Now on Amazon
It’s true! Why We Do Yoga is now available on Amazon kindle. Later this year it will be out in hard copy and it’s also available on my site in ebook fashion!
My intention behind this book was to create great awareness of why we do, you do, one does Yoga.
I know for myself it has transformed over the years and I don’t think I truly came to the mat with the right intention, space or even attitude as I was a busy person and doing, doing, doing. I wanted to truly get into a meditative state as I knew intuitively I needed it yet couldn’t get there.
As I have also shared it was such an honour to meet many of these Yogi’s, photograph them, talk with them, share stories or converse via email for ones further away – I have been touched by them all at a deep level.
How they shared their why’s and the pose they have chosen goes beyonds words – I keep hearing it’s touching people on a deeper level and opening their eyes up or wanting to go to the mat and go deeper in their practice or even start one!!
The first person who read the book and called me was the impact I was hoping this book would have – it made it all worth it even if it only touches one person!!
Yet I know it will touch many more!!

Why We do Yoga – Deb Krejci
Yoga is the only thing that encompasses everything in one form of exercise for me. It builds muscle, enhances stamina, physical rehabilitation of injuries, and stress reduction to name a few of the important benefits. Plus, it makes you want to do better. To be better. To be the best version of you that you can be. On and off the mat. It’s the shit basically.
Yoga for me is my direct relationship with Source or Creator. This connection to source that I find in my breath is the most important, nourishing, self loving act throughout my day. In order for me to enjoy a clear and centered relationship with any one or anything else, my yoga practice is essential.

Your Life is a reflection and extension of your mind – in other words, according to Quantum Physics – your life is a feed back loop showing you what you are thinking, believing and feeling.
Are you in love with your life? How you live, what you do or who you be?
You are the creator and have the power to change.
It starts with a knowing of where you are and where you want to be and how you want to feel.
And moving in that direction.
Any state of being unless it’s love, joy and gratitude, that you hold for longer than about two minutes is a lie to who you really are and be………..interesting isn’t it? 🙂
We’ve created habits and patterns that don’t always serve us!

Why We do Yoga
Why We do Yoga came to me after a Temazcal one night in Mexico – Mexican sweat load ceremony.
After the ceremony and back home, I was sitting out on the patio in a chair hammock slowly moving around, it was dark and the stars were out, there was a gentle warm breeze on my skin and I could hear the pounding of the waves in the distance. Out of nowhere this idea came.
As I was in my teacher training I was asking myself it at a deeper level as well. For me it started off as a personal journey – and it’s incredible how it fit into my life at the perfect time for what I was moving through.
When I started doing some research on the internet I knew immediately why this came to me.
The Yoga matt is where many people – mostly women but men too, come to further judge, compare, beat themselves up – not good enough, can’t do that pose, I’m not wearing the right clothing, I’m not thin enough etc
We need to stop this insanity.
This is only a glimpse – my persceptive on why I do Yoga – you will hear many other reasons.
For me now Yoga has become more – since deepening the connection with myself, my mind, body soul and breath.
Since that moment sitting out that night I started sharing this idea – this book – with other Yogi’s and they kept saying Yes to it, to be part of it!
We all have different journey’s, perspectives, lives, stories, beliefs and awareness and that is why I knew it needed to have as many Yogi’s share as possible.
I have had the incredible privilege to meet some of the most beautiful, amazing, heart centred and present Yogi’s / people since embarking on this project.
I spent the last several days going through the photos that I have been able to shoot and capture some beautiful moments – for that alone I am honoured. I have photographed over 50 Yogi’s and I then reached out to others who I knew would be a huge contribution to this book as well yet we were miles away.
Why We do Yoga is a book that will be out first in kindle format very soon like as in May!!
My wish and hope is that through one of these amazing Yogi’s that a seed will be planted, a deeper understanding or awareness of of why you do do Yoga.
Maybe you don’t do Yoga – yet, maybe you do a little, maybe you do a lot – I promise you there will be something in this book for you!

Why We Do Yoga
Wow what a crazy few weeks!!
Mercury is in Retrograde and I decided to go back to Canada during this time -flying – travelling not always a great idea as I found out on my way back! Lets just say I would never fly United Airlines again and letting others know it!! Rude customer agents and over priced baggage fees!
My time is in Canada and USA was busy – gathering things together to come back down to Mexico for a longer stay, packing up things, visiting friends, playing with my dehydrator and making lots of crackers, cereal and a few other goodies and shooting Yogi’s for the book coming out very soon Why We Do Yoga.
It’s been an amazing venture to meet and be able to Photograph most of these Yogi’s – words cannot describe it! I cannot wait to share the photos, the whys and more – it truly has inspired me even deeper – whether you do Yoga or not, or something that moves the body and bring you joy, awareness and a way to connect mind, body and spirit is what is essential.
We have become extremely disconnected and uncaring – I experienced it first hand at the Airport.
Now that I am grounded for a little while in Mexico I will be diving deeper into Yoga, consciousness, awareness, energy, manifesting, real and raw foods and more!. I have no dehydrator here but I did an amazing deal on a juicer when I got back here and will be experimenting using the sun energy for dehydrating.
I’ve already started my sprouts, kombucha and tomorrow will be raw sauerkraut.
Whether it’s food, thoughts, feelings or intentions – it’s all energy and it all matters or will create matter!
I am realizing that people and the world are waking up – we need to – our health and the planet is headed in the wrong direction for many. It does not have to be hard, boring, confusing or taste bad.
We are powerful creators – we create everything in our lives and we are live beings who need to be eating more live or real foods!
I joke with people now and say – once you take the blue pill and you actually swallow it – life becomes very different!
Can’t wait to share.

What does it mean to re-program?
Being someone that has struggled with an eating disorder when younger and now realizing I need to share my story and bring awareness so others can overcome their struggles with food, body issues or low self esteem. Dr’s don’t know how to work with this situation and the recovery rate is not very high at all. The one thing that separates an eating disorder or emotional eating from other addictions is that food is everywhere!! We create many gatherings around food, celebrations, deaths, parties and it’s even trendy to be a ‘foodie’ now whether that is raw, vegan, gluten free, paleo or whatever else is out there!! There fore overcoming an eating issue is much harder than say drugs – you can quit those all together.
What is so important to learn or actually in some cases unlearn is how we feel inside – what beliefs or programs are you (was I ) running? With the media today on tv, magazines and the internet we are constantly bombarded and reminded that we are not good enough the way we are and there is something outside of ourselves that is better or will fix our problems or make our life better. We are constantly chasing something or someone……….yet not going within.
It feels so good, so free when we let go, de-program and allow our authentic self emerge!
We need to de-program lack and not good enough and re-program with self love and being good enough.
Maybe it comes with age – when you start realizing some of that crap just isn’t important, maybe it comes with an awakening of some sort, maybe when one decides to finally take the blue pill
I reflect back over my life and look at the times I gave my power away to food, people and places – not feeling good enough or that thing or person had more power over me.
If Everything is Energy – including our states of being – aka not good enough, we can step into realizing that we can change that. If I can feel not good enough – how about feeling good enough – what does that feel like? Try it on. If I hate myself or my body – lets start asking better questions – why would I choose that?
What else could I feel instead? How could I better be myself? Why do I need to follow the crowd or try and fit in? etc
You and I did choose that, we are choosing everything we think and feel. We need to take responsibility for that (waking up) and know we can create something else. How do I want to feel? What would I like to experience?
It has nothing to do with anyone else, judging, comparing, what happened in the past or what might happen in the future. It’s about being fully present in the moment and falling in love with you, your body and your life!!
Quantum Physics is proving that our environment is a reflection or extension of our mind. I will keep repeating that often as our thoughts are electric and our feelings are magnetic. What that means is if I am thinking I am not good enough AND feeling it I am manifesting people and situations that reflect that back to me that I am not good enough. No one has done anything to me that I haven’t been thinking or feeling therefore viberating.
Yes, that may have raised some questions as it did for me many times as I did not understand how I could have created some of the crap I did in my life.
Get creative with your imagination – it all starts there and is very powerful!
Everything is Energy……..that has been proven.
Are you thinking and feeling Love, Joy, Gratitude, Empowerment, Integrity, Bliss, Compassion or not??
Any fear, doubt, lack, anger, frustration etc will over ride those. That kind of energy is dense and heavy.
We can even take it further as many of the Guru’s say this is a variety of ways – don’t look at reality and use that as your guidance, stay focused on how you do want to feel and what you do want to experience – it’s not avoiding it’s a form of overriding. If everything is energy – where attention goes energy flows.
We are programmed for the negative – just look at the news or television – telling a vision – who’s vision though? It sure ain’t yours or mine so if I may suggest stop watching the tv, reading the paper, and buying those crappy magazines!!
I was in a check out line yesterday and I was looking at the magazines and all the headlines – nothing has changed since I was about 20 yrs old and buying into the programming of lack and not good enough way back then – it’s only gotten worse – if I buy this and read it – then my life and body will be perfect………..
What is perfect? What is true for you?
It requires slowing down, connecting with self, going within and knowing you are awesome!
Yes – it’s true. We have been lead to believe we aren’t good enough the way we are.
We are constantly chasing something.
We are powerful creators, we have just been doing it unconsciously and now we can learn to create consciously and set our intentions on what we truly desire.
Do you know what your truly desire or desire to feel?
You are good enough and you are deserving – now do you feel and believe that?
Lets start there!! Practice embodying feeling good enough and deserving!
Re-progamming starts there!

We are way more love and powerful than we realize and our imagination is way more powerful than knowledge yet it starts from within!! Awareness leads to Consciousness.
We are creators – we just need to truly embody that!
