Raising Your Vibration

What does raising your vibration mean to begin with!?

Everything is Energy – Science is proving that, Quantum Physics is proving that – from the chair you sit in, to the plate you eat off, the kind of food you do eat, the thoughts you think and the feelings you feel.

When we are in an emotional state – whether that be anger, frustration, love, joy, or gratitude as examples, they all have a different vibration.  Just like a Twinkie does to a Green Salad or a chair to a table, anger vs love – they are all different.  Some are denser than others 🙂

From Wikipedia

What is Vibration – a person’s emotional state, the atmosphere of a place, or the associations of an object, as communicated to and felt by others.

Now we do know that Love, Gratitude and Joy are higher vibrations – it’s been proven.

How does one get there if it’s not  a common state of being, have been having more crappy days than great days, dealing with a ton of stress or something along those lines so you just aren’t in a place of a higher vibrational state of being!

I want to share an exercise I did before and I did again last night – what an experience both times.

Last night I did it while I was doing Yin Yoga – so a 90 min session and I was listening to Bentinho Massaro doing some guided meditations of basically raising your state. (you can find him on Youtube – cool dude)  his exercise that I did before is really for at least 10 seconds for every minute think and feel amazing things about you, your life, your body, your being for 2 hours – set a timer and go – when I did it I couldn’t believe how fast the time went and how good I felt.

So through holding a Yoga pose (you don’t have to do Yin Yoga during this at all  – I just chose to – just don’t let yourself be distracted be fully present yet relaxed).  I kept my focus on my breath – nice long and deep breathing and keep engaging in feeling different feelings to start training my body to embody them more often – love, gratitude, excitement, creativity, empowerment, abundance, courage etc

I felt like for awhile I was almost in an altered state – it felt friggin awesome!!

Sometimes the simple things of slowing down, being present connecting with out breath, getting out of our mind and learning to embody new ways of feeling can be life changing – everything is energy and energy is powerful……..when used correctly!!  We can create more by doing that then running around being busy trying to do, do, do.

We are walking antenna’s that helps to find tune the station better and to adjust to a better station or a station more in tuned to who you truly be!!

The process is meditative and in this short video Dr Joe Dispenza explains what is’ like to be incoherent and then coherent with the brainwaves and the heart – big difference in the body and health and connecting with the Field – of Infinite Possibilities.

The more we are connected with our selves and true nature this becomes much easier, we are lighter, freer,  more in the flow and having magic happen all around us!

Enjoy

Go Within into the Unknown

“It is not art in the professionalized sense about which I care, but that which is created sacredly, as a result of a deep inner experience, with all of oneself, and that becomes ‘art’ in time.”

                                                                              Alfred Stieglitz

Alfred was a Photographer in the late 1800’s early 1900’s – it’s incredible when you think about  what some people knew even back then about energy, meditation truly living.  It always comes back to you and what you are thinking and feeling inside.

Let go of the external reality to go within as they are proving we are living in a Universe which is a feed back loop for our thoughts and feelings – the environment is an extension of our mind.

We are way more love and powerful than we realize and our imagination is way more powerful than knowledge yet it starts from within!!  Awareness leads to Consciousness.

We are creators – we just need to truly embody that!

Set your intention on creating a magical day and being fully present in the moment – if you are not present then who’s life are you living??

Much Love & Gratitude

Being Present

Being Present

Being Present – what does that truly mean?

Have you ever tried meditating?

Isn’t as easy as it sounds is it?

For most of us  we spend too much time in our heads , or I can really only speak for myself – I have spent way too much time in my head!!

I who struggled with an eating disorder, also struggled to be in my body most of the time, it was easier and less painful to be in my head – and therefore I got to be a little on the analytical side – not saying there is anything wrong with that, but for me it wasn’t always the best thing.

Not wanting to be in the body for whatever reason, which is somehow connected to some sort of pain in most cases, is a way of numbing ourselves, not feeling, which easily leads to over eating or binge eating.  It also leads to multi tasking and rushing through things or life.

Being fully present is not always an easy thing to do – just try meditating.

But the more we can slow down, connects to the inner core, the more present we can be in the moment – not reliving the past (especially memories that elicits anger, guilt, pain, frustration etc) or worrying about the future but truly being full y present in the moment is about being fully connected and alive.

The past is over – let it go, forgive yourself (or anyone else) and let go of any negative emotions.

The future is not here yet, don’t waste the current moment worrying about something that hasn’t come yet.  That’s not to say don’t plan things but I think you know the difference.

For me I am finding breath work has really helped me.  It quiets the mind, relaxes the body, gets me in my body and any emotions that come up I can breath through and release them with ease allowing for more calmness in my life.

Also Long Exposure Photography – it helps with my patience, staying focused and very present.

Whatever helps you spend more time being present – you might be amazed at how doing something so small yet significant can impact your life, besides YOU deserve to have, feel and live a phenomenal life – don’t you think? 🙂

Would love to hear your thoughts and as always please feel free to share.

Be present and make it a great day!!

Take Time to Smell the Flowers

Take time to smell the flowers

How often do we really take time to smell the flowers??

I have this great little pond at my house and I am enjoying the flowers -photographing them under different light, waiting for them to open up each morning, watching them grow from under the water.

I guess I am a little fascinated as I haven’t been able to see this type of flower grow before……and it reminds me of Yoga, Mediation….k not really but what those symbolize…..calm, peace, quiet, beauty, connection and love.

We are so busy doing doing doing in our lives we often times don’t find the time to  slow down and smell the flowers, to connect, to be present, to be……..remember……we are human beings not human doings!!!

Have a beautiful day!!!

Being

Being

Ahhh it’s that time of the year…January…after the Christmas / New Year’s bustle, January can be a hard time for some people.

The days are short, and many missing the sun,  not to mention the warmth too depending on where you live.

We got some snow here this week, which isn’t always typical where I live, kids love it, so does my dog Spirit.

I watch as this 9 year old dog turns into almost puppy like.

I watch him enjoying the moment and being.

I watch him be playful.

One of my favorite things to do is walk Spirit through the rain forest here.

I am always in awe of the beauty.  Nature is abundant and ever changing, adapting.

It’s quieter this time of year.

The animals are nestled in more with their little extra fat or store of nuts.

Just like we are……or some of us.

We are suppose to take the time when the days are shorter to listen to our bodies more, go within, rest, be……

Some of us instead of going within a little more, distract ourselves with mindless tv or trips to the fridge.

Sometimes we have been so busy doing it’s hard to just be……trust me, I know…..been a multi tasker most of my life and thought that was something to be proud of.  Was so busy doing…….especially as a single mom, I had no idea how to be……I am still learning.

Walking in nature helps me with that for sure, I let go of my next thing I have to get done and really look with my eyes and see the beauty that surrounds me, never looking the same depending on the time of day or kind of light.  I am learning to be….be me….and just be…..still….in the moment.

I am starting to carry my camera with me on these outings as I just never know what I might see.

How much do we miss by keeping busy, watching tv, multi tasking or worrying about things?

Take a minute, take a deep breath, let go and look around, don’t think, just be, maybe you will see something you’ve been missing, or maybe you will catch the sunset  or some other beauty that has really been there all along,

Have a beautiful day!!
