Mother’s Day

It’s kind of interesting how we take one day and honor our mother’s and one day to honor our father’s.  I think we should do it more often and you don’t realize that until you lost a parent.  I often take a few minutes and remember my mom and the good times we had.  I had a great Mother’s day yesterday with my two beautiful teenagers – time flys.  My son just got back a few months in Europe so it made it even more special.

I also got the chance last week to photograph a dear friend as she is in her 8th month of pregnancy and I think she is just beautiful – there really is such beauty in a pregnant lady and they usually glow as Jane does here and comfort is the name of the game.  You amaze me Jane, the calmness, beauty and serenity that embodies you (she has two more at home) – maybe this one will be a girl!! 🙂

I’ll leave you with a few giggles on Mother’s.

Hope you got to share the day with your Mother or if you are a Mother, you had an awesome day too!!

  1. Oh my…. I am laughing so hard and these wonderful quotes….. I think… no, I know I have heard them all.
They were all a part of my parents regular vocabulary growing up and I know at the time, I hated them but now, I sit hear reading them, laughing at them and trying to recall how many times I have used those exact words on my children. (I hope not too often)

Love it and as I think back to Bob Hope…. all I can say Jodi is THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

    Hugs
